Doing up the baby’s room

So we need to clear up our junk and make room for baby. Bought this wall decal and we just turned our orange wall into a “Harry Potter” themed BB room!

Sad

Have you seen my Childhood?
I’m searching for that wonder in my youth
Like pirates in adventurous dreams,
Of conquest and kings on the throne…
Before you judge me, try hard to love me,
Look within your heart then ask,
Have you seen my Childhood?

Transformers

So we scored tics from my sis to watch Transformers and we had a good time! So much action going on, more comic relief than before and of course good triumphs over evil.Lots of gaping questions though like why can the ancient teleport? how come the key can be resurrected and Sam brought back to life like that etc…

17 Week

Morning sickness has tapered down and I am feeling a whole lot better. *phew* It’s been a roller coaster ride trying to cope with body changes and learning to deal with nausea. Ultimately sticking to a strict routine and making sure I always had food with me helped me cope through the day.

Anyhow, I suddenly love all drinks cold and gaseous. I am now a coke guzzling machine! *jia lat*

A call from the police

The police called me the other day, to tell me to that my car had been broken into.

I had to go down to my home carpark to verify items that had been taken and to arrange for tow and repair etc.

I was in the midst of work. The hubs was out of town. I was nauseous and had a headache. I thought it was all a joke.

Too bad it was all too real…my front side two windows had been smashed in and a pair of sunnies taken from the car. Cashcard, coupons, hifi were all intact and untouched…sigh. To smash two windows for 1 item???Wat a waste of time.

The sunnies weren’t even branded!

Ah well, thank God that my insurance covered me for windows and I didn’t have to fork out any money and my NCB wasn’t affected.

When I was a Toyota to talk to the advisor, another lady was there with a recent break-in case too! …guess with the economic crunch comes more theft?

One thing I learnt from the whole experience is to not get too affected by these things. As long as no one got hurt, my family still healthy and safe the rest can be dealt with.

Living it up

The hubs went overseas for close to a month and for the first time in 7 years, the doggie and me moved back to my parents home to stay during the time he was away. I must say, the period of stay was damn shiok. Delicious meals all provided for, dad walked my dog daily sometimes even more than once a day, no cleaning/washing up to do…I was completely taken care off man!  I loved staying with parents!
