Had a chance during the various public hols to go bead shopping around the Chinatown and Bras Besar area. I love browsing around the bead shops and can happily spend hours in there if not for HL waiting for me outside. He tries to be patient about it…but the eye rolling is just too obvious.  

So with my replenished stock of beads, I made some simple earrings for friends and family.

To me, it’s a fun and relaxing hobby as mentioned in a previous post here, not to mention the immense satisfaction when ur friends love the earrings and wear them often! Aunty J previously requested some photos of my creations, so here they are:

Here’s another set of earrings made while multi-tasking between channel surfing, playing with the dog and talking to the hubs.

I have found that making your own jewellery is therapeutic!  The process of choosing your materials, your colour scheme, what kind of design you want etc can be quite the girly affair (boys tend to roll eyes at this hobby)
