17 Week

Morning sickness has tapered down and I am feeling a whole lot better. *phew* It’s been a roller coaster ride trying to cope with body changes and learning to deal with nausea. Ultimately sticking to a strict routine and making sure I always had food with me helped me cope through the day.

Anyhow, I suddenly love all drinks cold and gaseous. I am now a coke guzzling machine! *jia lat*

You are one of the most positive mommies around! Sounds like you’re on a great adventure and enjoying each step..ok maybe not the nausea. Congratulations!

Welcome to the club! keke… get ready to enjoy the journey. The 2nd trimester is the honeymoon period! Enjoy the next few months before the swollen ankle and backaches kick in!

In some pregnancy literature I read, the 2nd trimester of a pregnancy is apparently the time of a woman’s life when she feels in “top form” (obviously, only for those whose nausea etc has stopped). Some people advise strongly against caffeine during pregnancy… perhaps you should substitute coke with sprite or kickapo (spelling?)…

Well, all the best with the next 5 months… Laine and I are down to our last 9 weeks… exciting!
