Destroyed
In a single fell swoop, I destroyed my rice cooker.
I was going to cook some rice for dinner, so I took out the pot from the rice cooker and brought it to the rice bin when I discovered that I needed a bowl to measure out the rice. So I went to the cabinets to grab a bowl, filled it with the required amount of rice when my dog suddenly barked furiously…I got a startle and automatically just dumped the rice into the rice cooker (which had no pot since I removed it earlier on)
Gah!!! No matter how much I shake and tilt, there’s tons of rice grains stuck inside and under the heating element.
Time for a new rice cooker.
According to the hubs…this was all an elaborate set up to get meself one of those new fangled programmable rice cookers.
Wat can I say…it’s just good timing

Get a Phillips one. It’s quite good. Can get cook normal rice, brown rice, glutinous rice, porridge and even soup.
wahahahah cool! Will look into the phillips model!
These days we just cook rice in the microwave… no need to spend on a new rice cooker then!
…in fact, no need to spend on a number of things with a microwave!
