We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.
I tend to take a shower later in the evenings and that results in me having wet hair when I head to bed.
Not good.
I wake up with what HL calls the ”chicken backside” hair style that screams MESS!
My hair will be shooting off in all sorts of directions and nothing can tame it! No amount of water, hair mousse etc can rectify the mess. Even tying it results in a wild pony tail. My hair has a life of its own.
So…am contemplating buying a hair straightener. Apparently my sister has the exact same prob as me (bad genes?) and she claims that a hair straightener has done wonders for her….and so, I started to look around for one.
BUT I have been put off by the prices of these things! It’s amazingly expensive *I thought*. I can cheerfully part with $75 for a mop but $75-$150 for a hair staightener? And apparently after some researching on the internet, so called good hair straighteners like GHD that don’t burn, damage, heat fast and well, don’t pull your hair etc etc can cost up to USD300+!!!
erm…let me see how much bonus I get this year ba…anyways, I have lived all my life without owning a hair dryer, no hair straightener isn’t going to affect me one little bit. But yeah, the beauty business is sure one big money making system.
An online diary of sorts...frivolous, causal and about things that I like or interest me...it's not to be taken too seriously as life is just too short.
