Steal this film, part II
Download this film by clicking here. Go on…remember to share as widely as possible.
“Because waves of repression continue to come: lawsuits are still levied against innocent people; arrests are still made on flimsy pretexts, in order to terrify and confuse; harsh laws are still enacted against filesharing, taking their place in the gradual erosion of our privacy and the bolstering of the surveillance state. All of this is intended to destroy or delay inexorable changes in what it means to create and exchange our creations. If STEAL THIS FILM II proves at all useful in bringing new people into the leagues of those now prepared to think ‘after intellectual property’, think creatively about the future of distribution, production and creativity, we have achieved our main goal.”

Christmas Party 2007
Good company, good wine, fragant ya kun coffee and some food maketh a merry party! The only gripe was, my place doesn’t have enough seating for 27-30 people…next time, when friends call to ask what they should bring for the party, I will say ”bring a stool” :)

everything has to go someplace
This book is dedicated “To the Librarians”
The author David Weinberger tries to engage you in the argument that we have to create disorder so as to introduce new orders and to enable multiple hierarchies all stemming from the same source of data…something to that effect. ![]()
If you can’t get your hand on the book, click here to watch his presentation instead.

Happiness is hard work!
Happiness is a mental beauty and acts as a fuel of sound health. It is essential for a healthy life. But it depends upon the happening of events in our daily lives. There is a constant pressure from financial condition ,children’s education, health of family members, social and national problems etc.But duty towards our health is to overcome all obstacles.A chinese proverb rightly says”One who has health has hope and one who has hope has everything”
-Julio Saltos

Happy occassion= Happy uncles and mother
Note to self: must learn to face problems with a sporting spirit and laugh more.
Another note to self: must work to create more happy moments like above.

About being fat-ter
I like to watch “Nigella Express” on AFC. Her show has great visuals and tips for the working woman to whip up a healthy balanced meal for the family. What I like about her is that she is not impossibly skinny or too hung up over her size and that she never puts out meals with zero oil or salt.
Times interviews her and presents her take on The big issue:
“Her experience (the deaths of a mother, sister and husband from cancer) has also made her see thinness as something to dread rather than aspire to. “I associate thinness with dying. My mother had real eating issues. When she had cancer, she said, ‘This is the first time I have eaten without worrying,’ and that is chilling.”

Animal loving…
Stumbled upon and enjoying her daily updates on Charlie:
The Daily Coyote
About: Charlie is a wild-born coyote who was unexpectedly delivered to my doorstep this past April after both his parents were shot for killing sheep. Whatever reservations I had about raising a wild animal simply didn’t matter - couldn’t matter - when I realized his survival, at least in the short term, depended on me.
