Inspirational
I love to read Karen Cheng’s blog.
She never fails to bring a smile to my face and a yearning for a life more slow so that I can learn to also appreciate and enjoy the simpler things in life.

Seabiscuit

I borrowed Seabiscuit from my library and watched it over the weekend. It is a story about kindness, 2nd chances, the heart and spirit to triump and the numbing bleakness of the Depression.
It was a great watch and I was so inpsired that I went to borrow Chariots of Fire for this weekend’s movie fest.
I hope by watching all these great sports movies, I will derive some modicum of motivation and inspiration to push and stretch myself…have been feeling quite blah lately…*cross fingers*

Blocked Nose
Having a blocked nose now…and its one of the worst things to have coz you can’t sleep!
The minute you lie down, your nasal passage blocks totally and breathing though the nose is near impossible. After that you have to start breathing though your mouth or die.
I hate feeling so blah and I blame it all on my work environment…yup, after more than 3 months after we shifted in, the polytechnic is STILL under construction. All that dust and debris is affecting my respiratory system, my skin etc…*bimbo alert*
On a brighter note, coz of the construction still going on, we are still wearing jeans, t-shirts and sneakers to work muarharhharhar….
