Addicted to…

the Tsubasa Chronicles, ツバサ・クロニクル. I have been watching the series non-stop till the wee hours of the morning for the past week. The anime is just light-hearted and entertaining, nothing spectacular.

Waking up to go to work has been torture cos of this…*yawn* and most people thought I was watching World Cup to deserve such glorious eye bags.

Pandora

Check out this music genome project called Pandora. It’s a great way to get to know other similar types of music that you like and to expand your music horizons.

Yoga

Finally got down to signing myself up for a yoga class at Shambhala and I started my very first introduction class today. Because it was the first class, we didn’t learn any poses yet, just stretching.

I must say that stretching never felt so wonderful though….I actually felt damn good after the class and am really looking forward to the next session. The teacher was great, he took the class through the specifics of each stretch and was careful to note each one of our postures, capabilities, problem areas etc…

I like.

Ta da!

Made a whole keychain by myself last weekend.

Very proud of my handicraft coz am usually useless at these things.

I have no patience and no eye for detail. However because I refuse to shell out enormous dollars for accessories, I had little choice but to resort to learning to make my own. Hence the whole jewellery class workshop etc…

Next project: Braclets

Vegetable Orchestra

I went to watch the Vegetable Orchestra on friday evening at the Jubilee Hall. When my friend first asked me whether I was interested to watch, I was like, ” Are you joking??? Can you please? “

But I went. Plus I had fun. Plus veggie soup to drink.

The weird sonic sounds created by drilling carrots, slurping water from hollowed radishes, beating up brinjals and whacking pumpkins was really quite interesting. Loved the techno piece called “Greenhouse/day” that had this strong pulsating beat coming from a brinjal.

I will never look at veggies the same again.

OUCH!

Super malued myself yesterday evening.

I fell down while attempting to cross the road from Taka to the taxi stand. I fell right as i stepped off the pavement. And it was not just a simple fall…it was a dramatic stumbling, balancing, multi-step fall in front of a hugeass number of people!!!!!!!! *argh!*

Now I have cuts on both my hands and knees….my right knee has swelled up to the size of a tennis ball and it hurts like hell. Took leave to rest at home today coz I sure as hell can’t walk much. Might see a doc later today if it doesn’t get better.

SUAY

Update: Got 2 days MC from the doctor. Muscle injury to kneecap area.

Up Close and Personal

My dog has a bad habit of sticking his face right up yours to kaypoh and to get into any bit of action.

Once he gets his face right next to yours, he starts his yoga deep breathing method right beside your ear to provoke some response. He has never failed before.
