Another good bye

Another one of my colleague is leaving us…she will be off to study a sports psychology degree. *sounds so fun*
People come and people go in your life…but in one way or another, they would have impacted us in some way or other.
Feeling: nostalgic

Small World
Today I went off to East Coast Park in the evening to do some jogging and I managed to meet 2 old school friends. One from my secondary school days and the other from my JC days. Both of them were good friends from the past and meeting again at East Coast allowed us an opportunity to make a date with each other at a later date to do some major catching up.
The nice cool weather today also resulted in a great run which left me refreshed and feeling good. It’s not often that you get 25 to 26 degree temperatures in Singapore.
Am starting to enjoy East Coast as a weekend hang out more and more…:)

Nice Read
Nice easy reading for older kids with all the classic good vs evil, dragons, magic and non-stop action.
I like…coz can finish reading in a day. I need action packed books that you can’t bear to put down….once the book has parts that bore me, I never pick it up again.

More Running
Just signed up for the Shape run with my sis.
Going to do a 10km run this time round.
Time to put on those jogging shoes and whip some discipline into my slacker life now.

Disappointing
chey, the book was not up to scratch at all…the story line was totally predictable and actually even boring. There was ramblings going on and lots of repetition??
nvm, next book lined up is “Septimus Heap, book two: Flyte”

Vesak Day
Yay, another public holiday, another day for me to sleep in and really relax. Not to mention this is also an opportune moment to tackle the ever growing pile of ironing that's waiting for me. *sigh*
Anyway, it was my grandma's birthday and the family had a big dinner for her at Chinatown. The food at Da Dong is really quite good! Loved their special ta hu and roasted chicken. *yummy*

Thumb Exercise
Frankly, after a long day at work. I just look forward to heading home to nua and veg in front of the TV.
Yup, the most consistent set of exercise that I do these days are thumb exercises. Channel surfing is my fave activity every evening and it’s soooo theraputic!
Mindless visual entertainment with full editing control at the tips of your thumbs. Fantastic!
