Getting in Shape
DIE.
I just signed up to found a mix team with my company to run in the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge and I am SOoooOOOOO000 unfit currently.
Need to be able to run 5.6km in a decent time without maluing myself.
Got only a few weeks to get in shape.
Panic.
Need to follow Nike’s mantra and just do it asap.

Married

My sister is now officially married.
*phew* weddings are hard work and I am sort of glad that there’s no one left in the family to go through this wedding preparation, planning etc anymore harhahrhar…..the reason is because I lazy lah. That’s why I dislike all the hulabaloo of events preparation, administration etc.
But the wedding went well and I had fun as one of the bridesmaids. Getting the dress for the two bridesmaid was a drama event all by itself. First the dresses were made in Shanghai about half a year before and they didn’t fit anyone of us! Multiple alterations just made it worse. Cheap stuff cannot bluff!
To make matters more complicated, the other bridesmaid, Amy was based in the States! She was only flying in the night before the wedding. In the end, a couple of days before the actual wedding, I claimed some hours off work and went into Daniel Yam with my sis, grabbed all their green dresses and tried them on. After 15mins we decided on a dress and promptly bought 2.
Thank god the dress fit Amy just right and we had 2 matchy matchy and happy bridesmaids.
HL was the ang pow bodyguard and he took his job very seriously…eyes never left the boxes at all times and he perfected the art of “hovering” harhahrharh….he can be bouncer next time if he want to moonlight.

United we stand
It took all 4 of us to shift just 1 box of metal CD racks. It was so heavy that we labelled the box:
BLARDEE HEAVY!!!

Shifting Office
I am in the midst of packing up an entire library and shifting to a new location.
It’s a mess and it’s damn exciting.
Of course we have contractors and vendors to help with the physical packing of books etc…so no need to get toooo physical. But we do have to move around quite a bit etc so jeans and t-shirts are the order of the day.
I love it that we can offically dress down….harhahr…sneakers, easy fit jeans, cargo pants, polo t-shirt are so easy and comfy to wear! No need to think too much about coordination, hair, make-up etc…with relaxed wear, anything goes! *yeah!*
am loving my nike footie socks these days…
