Dirty Dog

With HL away in Australia for almost a month, the household chores have fallen to me.
and that includes bathing the dog.
Bathing Humphrey is like having a full body workout. There’s yelling, running, squatting and repetitive movements of the arms. After that you emerge totally wet and dripping with an irate dog that just wants to go spread his wetness on all your furniture, walls and bed.
I have been in denial about bathing Humphrey for a while now….and he’s turned from a white and light brown dog into a dirty drain coffee colour. It’s his walks that have been making him dirty. He enjoys running into sand, mud, grass to smell other dog’s pee and poo.
So, I have decided that I will invest in doggie shoes! They cost a bomb at about $30.00 but I think they are going to be worth every cent!

Taking the car out
I decided that I won’t continue to be a wimp and I would brave the morning traffic and drive myself to work.
Of all days…today was the day they blocked off all the parking lots….
some stupid VIPs were coming and all the lots were “choped” for them.
PI!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bangle
So sweet, HL got me a present from Australia. Knowing how he dislikes shopping…this present is worth more than it looks!
And it’s personalized too….so that next time people don’t catch my name, I can just flash my bangle at them…heh

Pride and Prejudice
A good friend managed to get tickets to see the preview of Pride and Prejudice at the last minute. So we ditched our jogging plans for Mr Darcy and a much needed romance story with an absolutely happy end.
Check out what Olkgal has to say about the show…and more importantly, check out Mr Darcy…heheh…..*bimbo*

Toilet Trained?

I can’t believed this…after almost 2 years, my dog suddenly went to shit in the toilet all by himself? *gasp* is that a miracle or what??? We always have to bring him out for a loooong walk before he decides that he’s happy enough to take a dump.
Anyway, I hope this trend continues….coz it will definitely make me a happy gal if I don’t need to rush home to walk him so as to to make sure that he gets his dump-a-day.
