Weekend was spent in Bangkok.

3 things on our agenda was fulfilled:

1) Buy lots of Wacoal underwear- check!

2) Massages- check! (I even snoozed through a leg massage)

3) Eat mango sticky rice- check, check, check! (ate every chance I got)

The apartment that my sis booked was really nice! highly recommended especially if you are going in a group (cheaper than hotel), bring ur swimsuits please, the infinity pool with its urban skyline view is really a sight to see and enjoy.

We went with 1 check in luggage and we came back with 3 check in luggages (testimony to the power of shopping in BK).

Olkgal whipped up yummlicious Vietnamese ice cream the other day and gave us a tub.

hehehe everyone loved it! It wasn’t too sweet, it was soft and creamy and the taste was just yums! Especially now that the weather is so the hot, ice cream is such a lovely way to cool down and bond over.  Thanks babe!

Cooked a whole pot full of barley water with beancurd for the hubs over the weekend. Must say I think it was quite yummy, just a tad too sweet for my taste, but nothing that some additional water can’t fix. The poor thing’s been hacking away since 2 weeks ago…a combination of stress, lack of rest has just made him sicker. I kindna feel guilty about it coz the cough started from me and it spread over…am all ok and chirpy but he’s still super sick. Even the magic medicine, Manuka Honey isn’t working for him.

Ah…if only he can take time off to really truly rest…nothing beats the healing power of deep sleep and a stress free environment.

With National Day coming along, this clip brings back fond memories of the song that use to get stuck in my head due to multiple singing sessions in school choir. 

Was involved in some sports day administration quite some time back as part of work duties. It somehow felt more play than work though. heh.

It’s such a coincidence, but in our little work team 3 of us have dogs and they are all Shih Tzu pronounced as (Shit-Zoos)

One of my colleagues actually did up a photo collage of our dogs previously! Ain’t they all so cute!

argh…got super sunburnt last weekend while at the beach in Sentosa. The weather was iffy. Dark clouds overhead, strong winds, everyone was predicting rain and thunderstorms!

So I ignored sunblock and just played a bit of volleyball, read my magazine and basically vegged out at the beach. Before we knew it, the sun was blazing hot and I got burnt. Bleah…deserved it la.

Now it’s itchy scratchy and am peeling everywhere…not a pretty sight I tell ya. Should have slathered on my fave sunblock -the sunkiller sunscreen series…lightweight, non-oily, easy absorbed and in a compact bottle for easy toting around. It even has one with shimmers for your face so that you can look illuminated/pretty for work!

The hubs is now using scotchtape to peel off the burnt, dead skin from his face…he win.
